Dekant

Wallet & USDC

Dekant runs on Solana. You'll need a Solana wallet and some USDC to trade.

1. Get a wallet

Any Solana wallet works. Common picks:

  • Phantom — most popular, browser extension + mobile, beginner-friendly.
  • Solflare — solid alternative, also works as a hardware wallet bridge.
  • Backpack — newer, comes with built-in xNFT support.

Install the extension, create a new wallet, save your seed phrase somewhere offline. Don't skip that step.

2. Get USDC on Solana

Dekant settles in USDC (the SPL-token version on Solana, mint EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v).

Three ways to get it:

MethodWhen to use
Centralized exchange withdrawYou already have USDC on Coinbase, Binance, etc. Pick "Withdraw → USDC → Solana network" and send to your wallet. Fastest, lowest fee.
Bridge from another chainYou have USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum. Use a bridge like Wormhole, deBridge, or Mayan. Slower, costs gas on both sides.
On-ramp inside the walletMost wallets bundle a fiat → USDC ramp (often via MoonPay or Transak). Convenient but the worst fees.

You also need a tiny amount of SOL for transaction fees (call it 0.05 SOL). Most CEXs let you withdraw SOL too.

3. Connect to Dekant

Currently in early access on devnet. Mainnet is gated behind the waitlist. To get on the list, head to dekant.xyz.

Once mainnet trading opens, the connect flow is:

  1. Visit the trading app
  2. Click Connect wallet → pick your wallet
  3. Approve the connection
  4. The UI shows your USDC balance; you're ready to trade

What you don't need

  • A KYC account. Trading is non-custodial; the protocol never holds your private keys.
  • A separate token. USDC is the only collateral; no Dekant-specific token is required to trade.
  • An order book account or maker/taker registration. The CFAMM is the counterparty.

Devnet right now

The protocol is live on Solana devnet at program ID 4GYvtbs7da26tLaZt9PNQWLesq2riwEN6fi9tGF91A5P. Devnet USDC is a free test token; if you want to poke at the protocol before mainnet, ask for an invite to the early access channel and you'll get devnet credentials.
